Part 2 will just be what I can remember of the next 3 days, Tues, Wed and Thur. Those days are pretty much a blur of rides, parades and fireworks, that I'm not even going to try and remember them in order.
( TOON TOWN! )
When mom and Matt came out from the coaster, me and Lindsey totally played a trick on him.
'Hey Matt! You want to go into Chip and Dales house? Dude, it's so much fun, me and Lindsey spent so much time in there while you where on the coaster, we went like, twice.' It was so fun to watch him eagerly run to the house, and it was equally fun to see his face when he exited the house =D Yes we're mean.
We then headed to Minnies house! Which was very crowded, and we didn't stay long. After Minnie's house, just as we where heading into Mickey's house, we totally saw Minnie get in front of her house for pictures and we where sad we missed her!

It was so dark in Micky's house, that I actually had to use Flash. I'm not a fan of it, since you know, it's blinding. But if I have to I'll use it. But don't worry, I warned people before I shot in flash. So if you heard someone yell "I'm going to blind you now!' in Mickey's house during the week we went...that would have been me.

and then, finally!

After leaving Mickey's house, we saw Goofy! Lindsey and Matt totally love him, so I'm sad to say this, we chased him. -hangs head in shame- He was just wondering around Toon Town, no 'friend' in sight, and he was cornered by a bunch of little kids, at the gates, and it was at the time we where told he'd be out, so yea..
But seriously, people are crazy. This poor woman was standing next to Goofy, trying to get one of her daughters to go pose with her, and no one would let her go up, they kept pushing their own kids up, and then finally the lady got her daughter to agree to go, but only if she held her. So this lady has 2 kids in her arms, and people are still pushing their kids up there to take a picture! Some parents even put their kids next to Goofy while other kids where getting a picture taken with him! It was horrible. I was glad when the lady finally got up there with her kids, and I told Lindsey and Matt to wait until all the little kids got their pictures, and when I saw there was no more 'little' kids, I pushed them forward. (I define little kids as under 12)

Then we wandered Toon Town for a little bit longer, Matthew played around...

and then my brother went and blew up my trip report.
Up Next: Some of my favorite Fire Works pictures!
</div>
coldYay! I've been planning this trip for months and we where actually able to go when I wanted! The 2nd week of december, so the kids could see the Christmas decoration, and so I could see them too. I'm a fan of Disney, (in case you can't tell by all my lovely Disney icons) and we always used to go only in the summer. So in the summer, I planned a trip for December. And it happened!
So on to the trip report.
( Bunch of photo's have fun! )

Drivin to Bakersfield is boring, as always, but it was very, very, pretty.

What a fun game. We stayed up for hours playing it, I totally want it now. Anywho, we where up until about 1am, then woke up the next morning at about 9ish, but we where in no rush, check in wasn't until about 4pm, we had a 2 hour drive, and then hand out at the hotel all night. Our annual passes where not good for the weekends, so we couldn't do anything until the next day. We unloaded, took a walk around, got some great pizza, watched TV, and went to bed late.
The drive down to Anaheim was fun, Lindsey had wanted to spend Sunday driving around Hollywood searching for movie stars, and well, Janet took us through Hollywood, but we didn't see any movie stars. We did see a guy pee on a wall though.

And then we saw it:

Hollywood Tower! I mean, it's not like you can see the castle from I-5, you can sorta see Space Mountain, if you try hard. So Hollywood Tower is the new landmark for me. We quickly found the hotel, which was wonderful. The wonderful Dolphins Cove Resort on Orangewood St. Mile and a half away from Disneyland. It used to be an old apartment complex, now it's time share condo's. The grounds are wonderful, and the rooms, omgoodness, don't get me started! Beautiful!
As we where getting to bed, at the lovely hour of about 9ish (no sleep the night before, blah) we couldn' sleep...again! We where so excited about the next day. Me and Lindsey where sitting on the balcony over looking the parking lot, when we heard a bang, and a bright light filled the air! THE FIREWORKS! Mom and Matthew jumped out of bed, they had no idea what it was, and they couldn't sleep either, so we went out to the parking lot and watched them for 15 minutes, then went back inside to try and sleep.
We woke up bright and early, got to Disneyland, got the AP's for mom and the kids, got their pictures, and was right in time for Hatter and Alice with the band! But I wasn't able to take many pictures, because everyone wanted to get goin on rides.

We then headed towards main street, where we saw Chip, tried to take a picture with him, but mom pressed the wrong button and the long was getting long. So then we got a picture with the tree! It's soo big and pretty!

Then we headed to our first ride of the day, Pirates! Then over to HM Holiday! Which...eh. It was fun to see it decorated, but it wasn't anything special -ducks from thrown pineapples-. We then wandered a bit, and I have to say, it was crowded, cold, and we quickly went over to DCA to do what we had to do there so we wouldn't have to go back till Friday (for Aladdin!!!) We did everything there, caught part of the HS3 parade too! Here are a couple HS3 parade pics, and some from the Monsters Inc. ride. Now, some of them do look like I used flash, but I did NOT.

I would have to say that we spent most of the day at the Animation place, right next to Off the Page. We went through Sorceror's Studio like, 3 times, did Turlte Talk, which was so nifty, and several times almost did Animation Achademy.

On to Ursala's Grotto we had some major fun. My brother and I did most of the things, Lindsey helped out with the Bambi one. And then we did a couple songs. I have to say, my favorite was the Beauty and the Beast voice over thing, cause at the end, after I said 'Well, if you wouldn't have fraightened me I wouldn't have run away' and then Beast is speechless, my brother decided to add the ever lovely 'Screw You!' which you could actually hear loud and clear when they re played it back. My mother dragged us out of their after that.

On the Beast and Belle's Library! We all sat down and did the charecter thing, mom was Lady from Lady and the Tramp, Lindsey was Yzma, Matthew was Lumiere, and at first, because Matt was a pain in the behind, I was the ever wonderful Maleficent, then when I did it all on my own with out Matt's help, I was Belle, which is just like always.

After we spent most of the day at DCA, we headed back to DL for a snack before heading back to the hotel for a meal. After searching through parade crowds for a pretzel cart, me and Lindsey finally headed over to Coke Corner to see if they had them, and they did~ And we caught the end of musical chairs with Hatter and Peter! Lindsey totally has the couple pictures I caught of Peter before he ran off into the crowd.
We ate, went back to the hotel for a meal, watched a movie, then headed back. While waiting at the bus stop, the fireworks started!

We then went and rode Soarin' Over California, Matt and I anyway, then headed over towards Grizzly, which we rode twice in a row, and then to Toy Story Midway Mania!

We rode single rider on TSMM, only had to wait about half an hour. Matt and Mom where sorta paired up, same car anyway, thenI got on a couple cars later, and Lindsey a couple after me. I thought I did really well, 130k+, but the guy next to me was kicking my butt! I totally thought I was beating him, I was hitting all the 2k plates and stuff. Lindsey said she didn't even look at her score because the guy next to her was scary and WAY too into the game, lol.
We then started heading back to the hotel, when me and Lindsey decided that we where going to be crazy and ride Grizzly one more time, we where already wet and cold, why not right? It was walk on, we had our own raft. We got drenched. But it was fun. We went home wet, spent an hour in the nice hot tub each, then went to bed.
Under the cut there is spoilers, and not so good things said about the movie, so if you're a fan, keep walking honey.
( Twilight Sucked. FYI. )
Anywho, I'm going to get back to work!
And, I havn't even started my NaNoWriMo novel, but I have Microsoft Works open right now, and I'm wondering where to start.
relaxedTonight was pretty excellent! Let's recap from the beginning, which was last night.
I was talking with my friend Amanda, and we where looking at wonderful make up tutorials on youtube (I'll add names and links at the end) and I knew then, what I wanted to be for Halloween. I wanted to be a Zombie! From the 1940's! So after watching many videos on how to do Victory Curls, trying, and failing because of my new hair do, I decided, I'll buy a wig, or a big flower, lol. I looked at many old, and new Pin Up photo's and these ladies are elegant man. I don't think I could ever pull it off! Even though I do love the look.
Annalise had a vet appointment today (cute vet, but totally married) it was just a check up and to get her shots and stuff, $200 though, but it covers all her coming up shots too, it's a special kitten deal thing. But anyway, we had to go shopping today 1, for candy, and 2 for leftover halloween stuff.
Last night I spent ALL NIGHT watching make up videos and making a list of what I needed, and I worked. Earned $40, walked into town with $60 I could spend, came home with $16.
I got tons of makeup, some I needed and alot I didn't. Makeup remover (called BabyBoo, got it 2 packs for $3, 24 wipes in each. My wig, it's a Pageboy black wig, and I don't look good with black hair btw.
I have to say tonight was pretty darn good night for me! I totally thought there would be more older kids, you know, over 13, but out of at least 30 kids, 4 of them where over 13, 2 of them where my sister and her boyfriend! There where many, many cute kids and creative comstumes, and my rule is you have to say Trick or Treat before you get either, and I only had to remind one little girl who was already here 3 times (which I don't mind, we bought too much candy anyway and gave the last 3 people a giant handfull each), and everyone said 'thank you' parents shouted out 'have a good night!', they responded when I commented on their costumes. Even the little 3-4 year olds! Totally cute too :3
I had: 2 spider mans, 2 batmans, the Hulk, a couple other fellow Zombies (I think...they where painted green and black, but in rags?) a power ranger, devil, angel, princess, and all those other 'generic' things, or things you see many of, but there is one, that is my favorite! The Gorilla Princess! It was cute and creative, she had to be about 12ish, I couldn't see her face, but by height that's what I'm guessing, but she was dressed in a gorilla suite, with a cute little white dress over it with a crown over her gorilla mask!
I sat out on our decorated porch in the warm air (reading in between kids), it sprinkled a little bit every so often, and when my mom came home with the kids, they grabbed me and made me go Trick or Treating with them, at about 7:30, I figured, yea, I'm older, but any little kid is going to be home getting a sugar high by now, so it's not like I'm pushing them out of the way for candy. And hello, late in the night? Anyone with extra candy want's to get rid of it!
We got home at 8, and it started raining bad, so we packed it in. Let the poor dog out of the bathroom, let the cats out of the bedroom, took pictures of make up, removed make up and itchy hot wig, ate, and now I'm resting, lol.
Um, I'm pretty tired, and I'm going to go sit, so remind me to add the videos that I used, and pictures of my make up.
See you guys later!
This is going to be alot of work, and it's going to suck ass.
crankyOnly 3 more days! I got 4 big pumpkins waiting on the kitchen table, some ghosts hanging out around my books, and about 12 unfinished spiders hanging out with the pumpkins, waiting for their eyes and string. And I have cardboard outside waiting to be cut into gravestones and written on. I also have cardboard waiting for me to cover it in glow in the dark paint in the shape of scary eyes! whoooohoooooowooooo.
Was that scary? No. Whatever. I'll take pictures.
And shit, NaNo is near too. And I need to be saving up, because I found a wonderful camera I really want to save for...it's glorious you guys: http://www.ecost.com/detail.aspx?edp=409
And I wanted some spending money at Disneyland, but if I can get this camera, I'll be more then happy with just that.
HALLOWEEEENNNN.
bouncySo, I guess you've noticed that I didn't post a blog about what I did at my aunts house....it just seemed like WAY to much work folks. 200 and something photo's! But I did upload them all to photobucket for you guys! Really I did! http://s7.photobucket.com/albums/y286/Cl
See! You just need to click on the 2 other albums! Pismo & Hearst Castle, and then Disneyland!
Yes, she totally took me to D-Land! It was so fly by our seat! I woke up on Wed. at like 10:30, made the bed got dressed, she poked her head in and said: 'Do you want $100 for clothes, or do you want to go to Disneyland?'
Really? I have clothes, true I need pants, but I can live in my pj's! We had a great time, taking it slow, and most of the rides where walk on, and what wasn't was only a 5 minute line, if that.
I've also been planning a Holiday Trip to Disneyland for my family (mom, kids, me) because we've never gone to see the holiday decorations, just in the summer, and I wanted them to see them...well, I wanted to see them too I admit! We talked to Aunt Angel about it, and she was going to get us her timeshare, so we wouldn't have to pay for a hotel, and that worked for us!
But for the past 2 weeks I've been worried because she hadn't heard from teh time share people, and it's only 2 months away! I didn't want to wait 30 days before we where supposed to be there! That's just not enough time to save I'll tell ya! Even if a hotel only woulda cost $600 for a week! The past 2 weeks I've been doing math, looking at all the cheap hotel places, Hotwire, Travelocity, hotels.com, it was insane, then I found a good one, 2 rooms, with 2 beds and a kitchenette, only $600, $300 each for the week!
I saved the pages of math and the hotel pages, but thankfully, we heard back from Aunt Angel about the time share today, and WE GOT IT! Yay! We're staying at the Dolphins Cove Resort, they have a transit bus to the parks, $50 for the 4 of us, unlimitied rides, all week.
And we changed our plans. We're going to drive up the 6th, saturday, relax that night, and then head to the Long Beach Aqarium on Sunday! Then the park Mon-Fri, saturday to Aunt Angels then Sunday home! I mean, I have to put Anna (my new cat) in a 'hotel' and I already made her reservations, so on Halloween when I go in for her vet appointment, I'll just hop over to the 'hotel' and add a day, and I think I'll upgrade her to a 'suite' for $3 more a day, since you know, I don't have to get us a hotel!
I can't wait for December!
ecstatichttp://www.reprodepot.com/newarrivals.ht
All the fabric is so pretty, and I just want to buy a yard or 2 of almost all of them, just to have around and look at the prettiest, and then frame them in different sized frames.
But they are so expensize, and I would have no where to hang them.
thoughtfulWe're talking about going to the San Diago Zoo, the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, hanging out in HollyWood, it all depends, oh, and USED BOOK STORES. Yes. Books. Good.
I plan on taking loads of pictures at all the places. And writing loads too when I get back. And when I get back, or sometime this week, I will totally up load my sims for you guys.
cheerfulAnd stop thinking dirty! I'm talking about humming birds of course!
So a couple weeks ago I was over at paperbackswap.com where I hang out, and they where talking about humming birds. Now, these birds have alway's intrested me because they are so cute and they move so fast! And they where talking about all these experiances they've had with 'their' humming birds (some have SWARMS of them around their feeders!) So of course I had to do more research.
Because I'm broke most of the time, I didn't have any money for their 'food' the red liquid? So I did research and found a home made humming bird food which is super easy! 4 cups water and 1 cup sugar! Boil until sugar is dissolved, put in container, place in fridge until cold and then hang outside! Super easy peasy! So we went to Wal Mart the next day and I was expecting to only get one because I thought they where expensive, they're not! I got 2 of these: CLICK ME and they both hold exactly 4 cups of food! I've had them maybe 3-4 weeks, and I just had to change them out today. I have the water boiling right now. But I've only seen one or 2 a week (I don't sit and watch it all the time!) But I was in Matt's room today, the best place to see them since they are hanging on the tree right outside his window, I had the window open so I could take pictures if they showed up, and like 4 showed up! They ate, chased each other, and I heard them make little bird noises! It was so cute! I do have pictures, but because it's late in the day, the bird feeders where shaded and they just look like black shapes unless you zoom in, them you can kinda see them, but I love the photo's.
I read they come out near dawn so maybe one day I can get up early (or stay up late) and grab some great shots of them.
BTW, I'm looking at humming bird feeders on google images to find the ones I use (I'm on page 6 already! where are they?) and there are some BEAUTIFUL humming bird feeders! Serisouly go take a look! UPDATE Finally found mine on page 9!
Haha, totally forgot to talk about work!
It sucks, sorta, but fun at the same time ya know? But I'm so tired of the Olympics already! ARGH! But that Micheal Phelps guy is kinda cute yea? And it just proves to me that people are stupid and thing that every one has a crystal ball.
happyAGAIN:
I have weird dreams part 2!
Ok, so I had the weirdest dream last night.
I was at my house, or I'm going to assume it's my house. Matthew is out side, and he has magic powers that can make rain, and that's what he is doing. I have to pee but he is right outside the bathroom and making noise with his friends. I go outside to yell at them, but, my skirt is caught up in my panties in the back, so I'm showing my pantie covered back side to everyone! And also apperantly, we live like right downhill from my highschool, cause I'm still in school there?
Anywho, boys start honking and yelling things at me and I"m all embarassed (haha bare assed) and then I have to go right to school. Well, I happen to go to a great school where I go to school with the High School Musical crowd AND the Jonas Brothers, plus various Disney Stars.
Troy and Gabriella tell me it's no big deal, Sharpea is just a bitch, and I don't see the other people (and I love Corbin!), then while on my way thorugh the cafiteria to lunch, I pass a table where the JoBro's sit, and then the various Disney Stars.
I get to my tiny class room, tiny in size, not in people, and find I'm the only girl with a group of 10 people. And that Steve Coogen (Teacher from Hamlet 2) is our Teacher!
During class, some lady squeezes her way into the classroom to post up a new 'rule' saying we can't place our backpacks on the desks anymore because they can't handle the weight, then she leaves, and the teacher rips down the rule and proceeds to stick all our backpacks on the desk.
I am placed at a table with a guy I know from another forum, and boy is he a hottie, but this is the second time he's been in one of my dreams.
Steve then proceeds to give us a class assingment, we have to pick 9 ways to tell our life story. regular essay, poem, song, and other things I couldn't read.
Then, we use points to buy the items we need to do that assingment....and my group doesn't have any points :(
And then mom woke me up. But it was a weird dream.
listlessBecause it's a super easy and fun learning job, and you could very well take it away from me internets people.
I've told one internet friend what it is, even gave her a link, because she's having money problems too.
But I have to say, this can be a fantastic job for me. In fact it is a perfect job for me. I've already earned some money, just waiting for more to role in. Some lady is making like $350+ a week doing this job. I want to do that. You know what I could do with that money? If you said 'Go to Disneyland' you are wrong. Yes I'm saving for that :P but that's planned. If you said "Get the bill collecters the fuck off your mom's back' then you where right. We have doctor bills piling up and bill collecters calling. Anywho, whatever money I do make, wether it be $350+ a week, or just $35+ a week, its going to that for now. (but serisouly, if I could make the $350+ a week we'd have the bills paid in no time and I'll save the rest for Disney :P)
So I think I'm going to stop putting in applications, give this a couple months to pan out, and if I'm making good money by January, I'll keep at it, but if I'm just making pocket change, then in January I'll start the job hunt again.
And I've updated my Sim Family's Family Tree! Link is in my last blog. So many siblings and houses to play e_e NEVER AGAIN.
creativeWillow is the second generation eldest daughter....well, eldest child really. She has 2 younger brothers, Jackson and James, and then her parents split up. Her mom, Katie, married Joe McSkittles and had Lucas, and both Katie and Joe are both pregnant with twins. Willows dad Pirate got married to the maid Kaylnn and they had 3 girls, so far, Christine and Maddy, the twins, and then Evagline (who was just born) and Kaylnn is pregnant again (she wants 10 kids, why not?) Willow is pregnant right now with Twins (yay cheese cake!) and her and Algren just came back from their 3day honeymoon in Three Lakes. Here are some pictures:
http://s7.photobucket.com/albums/y286/Cl
You can check out the Dorks Legacy and get all the Dorks for yourself at:
http://katu-sims.livejournal.com/11658.h
And I'm keeping a family tree of the McKenna's (that was their original name) over at this place:
http://www.myheritage.com/site-35235251/m
I only upload photo's of them as adults for the photo's though. But I will take some pictures of the kids as kids, because they are all adorable!
bouncyWe held it in Tracy because that's where the Icardi family has been based since my Great Grandpa and Grandma moved there when my grandmother was about 3 from Oakland.
Several Icardi's and Laiolo's where there (Laiolo was my great Grandpa's sisters husband, lol. Nelvi Icardi married Harry Laiolo) So both sides where there. Here's a rundown.
My grandmother, Uncle David and his wife Aunt Tricia, Uncle Dennis and his wife Aunt Marlynn, Aunt Nelvi, Cousin Matt his wife Claire and their kids Natalie and Michelle, Marlynn's parents, Tricia's parents, Cousin Deann and her husband Ryner with their kids Conner and Alexis (Ryner is their step dad, and his 2 kids where with their mom for the weekend) Cousin Joey, My aunt Angel and Mallory (Nick was with his dad) Cousin Lynn, her husband Paul and there son PJ (Paul Jr.) and then Cousin Harry and his wife Roxanne and then Louie and Linda, old friends of my great grandparents. Pretty sure I got everyone XD And I'm not ever going to explan the family tree, I'd confuse you.
What was great about this reunion was that we havn't seen half these reletives in a couple of years, if at all! My mom's cousin Matt and his wife had Natalie 6 years ago and we've only seen pictures! And they live in Tracy! But Matthew took a shine to her and they where so cute! Matthew was giving her piggy back rides and sitting with her :3 And we havn't seen PJ since he was 4ish, and he's 8 now!
And my cousin Lynn has changed so much in 4 years! She gained a little weight, and she's turning 60 this year, but you couldn't tell she's turning that old! She looks like she's in her early 40s!
The day turned out hot though, we arrived at about 11ish and helped set up a bit, hung out, I sat around taking pictures, oh and BTW, the cute ass shoes I had to have? OUCH! Wore them for 10 minutes then had to take them off and I went barefoot the rest of the day! My poor little pinkie toes!
Plus while we were there, 2 wedding parites came by and got pictures taken in the park.
Food was eaten, stories where told, and games where played. But it may be easier to just show you the photo's!
The end. But I've also just noticed that I have not ONE GOOD picture of my aunt Marlynn! 299 photo's and she's only in the background of one! I not only blame myself though, Aunt Angel had my camera for half the time and she took the 'good' photo's...the non stalkereque photo's :P
But yea, 299, and they are not all posted in this blog, because I'm tired, so here is a link to my photobucket account where they are held:
http://s7.photobucket.com/albums/y286/Cl
impressedOk, so last night (or should I say early this morning) I went to bed at 5am, and had to be up at 7ish, woke up at 7:30! YAY -sarcasim-
Got up, got dressed, and now I'm getting on my makeup and doing my hair so that all I have to do is eat something and then brush teeth when it's actually time to go.
Actually, I think I need to do a bit more. Like get my purse together and my carera shit together.
But whatever, it'll get done.
And the shoes with the outfit? SO FREAKING CUTE! I painted my toe nails orange to go with the orange spots on my shirt, and I gave myself and Lindsey a french mani, didn't turn out so bad, got a couple spots that could have used touching up, but at 5 am, who cares right?
Well, have to go do my hair and shit, I'm taking lots of pictures today, hopefully some of them will be of me....
Also, wish me luck that I don't fall and break my face in these shoes, cute, but deadly.
crazySo yea....SHOES...gah there where so many cute ones at payless I wanted to get but I have no money :/
ecstaticNow, my sister recently spent a week up there because my aunt 'wanted to spend more time with her' and guess what? My aunt was at work most of the time, my older cousin was gone most of the time, and so was the younger cousin. My sister called me often just to talk to a LIVE PERSON because they where gone so much.
But I know why they don't want me and they should stop being assholes and just say I don't want you in my house instead of pussyfooting around.
If they do allow me up in September, I'll die from surprise.
Now excuse me, I have 4 dozen cupcakes to make.
